Guiding principles
How We Deliver Aid

Humanity
The primary purpose of humanitarian action is to save lives, alleviate suffering and maintain human dignity.

Neutrality
Humanitarian actors must not take sides in hostilities or engage in controversies of a political nature.

Impartiality
Aid is given based solely on need, prioritising the most urgent cases without discrimination.

Independence
Decisions are autonomous from political, economic, military or other non-humanitarian objectives.

Accountability
Every dollar spent is documented, reported and open to scrutiny by donors, partners and beneficiaries.

Partnership
We work through vetted, trusted local organisations with proven capacity on the ground.
